EMACIM PROGRAMME
EMACIM Programme
The EMACIM programme is intended for graduates wishing to gain knowledge and education in international business and international management as well as in arts, cultural experience and heritage, with tourism being a modern link between them.
The EMACIM study programme is to provide a new kind of understanding and opportunities for business and management students to develop more sensitive and culture-tailored approaches for doing business. On the other hand, it will help art and culture specialists to become more competitive in the labour market by developing their practical innovativeness, entrepreneurial spirit and management skills.
One of the most important reasons behind the EMACIM project is to combine theoretical knowledge with its practical implementation. That is why EMACIM students are encouraged to take up real tasks and to solve real problems, in co-operation with cultural institutions in a given country.
During EMACIM studies students will learn to:
- Operate locally based cultural projects in an international context;
- Utilize business knowledge to arts & culture projects and knowledge of arts & culture to business projects;
- Manage the innovation processes;
- Communicate in international and intercultural environments;
- Generate cultural and artistic products and product innovation from an aesthetic point of view including product innovation.
- Innovation management: to run international cultural or artistic projects;
- Social innovation: to communicate in an international and intercultural environment;
- Product innovation: to generate cultural products (or services).
